Why the Fediverse?

The Fediverse is an open, decentralized social network built around interoperable protocols such as ActivityPub. Instead of keeping my social identity on someone else's platform, I host it on my own domain.

My identity is therefore not tied to a particular social network. The domain is the identity.

This account is connected to my website. I may use it to share new posts, projects, links, thoughts, and other updates.

Replies and interactions from other Fediverse servers can also be delivered back to this website.
